Born on May 5, 1846 in Makin County, Missouri,
Dr. Miller was instrumental in organizing the medical profession
in Arizona. He began with the Yavapai County Medical Society,
then the Maricopa County Medical Society, then the Arizona
Medical Association, all of which he was the first president.
