AzMedicine Advertising Guidelines and Information

AzMedicine
AzMedicine is published four times a year by the Arizona Medical Association for our membership and other health care community leaders. The journal covers news focusing on socio-economic, health care, professional and legislative issues. Physicians, students, residents, health care professionals and community leaders comprise the publication's readers. One edition each year will be distributed to all licensed MD's in the state. In 2008, this is scheduled for our Fall edition, which focuses on election issues.

Display and Classified Ads
The preferred format for display ad submission is digital ( Jpeg, PDF, or TIFF file), which can be on a disk, CD or sent via email to the
Communications Department. Classified ads MUST be typed.

Contracts
Payment is due up-front for the total cost of the contract. Checks or credit card payments are accepted. If you will be supplying new art for each edition of the magazine you've contracted for, all deadlines, as indicated on the Advertising Deadline Sheet included in our media kit, must be met.

Cancellation
There is a 25% charge for contracts cancelled 45 days prior to publication. Contracts cancelled less than 45 days prior to publication are non-refundable. 

A Little About Our Physician Readers:

  • Almost 63% of our readers are located in Maricopa County.

  • Over 23% of our readers are located in Pima County.
  • Approximately 14% are in rural areas.
  • 77% of readers receive AzMedicine at their office, which typically means office staff and patients might have access to the journal.
  • Approximately 70% of readers are male.

Details on specialties:  Internal Medicine (14%), Family Practice (11%), Anesthesiology (6%), Orthopedic Surgeons (3%), Pediatricians (7%), and OB/GYNs (4%).
The other 45% of our readers are in various specialties ranging from surgery to ophthalmology.
